Triple 7 FFFG loads

I was using T7 pellets and just switched to FFFG. I plan on using Hornady 250gr SST in a black sabot, in my NEF, with the .25acp breech plug conversion. Does anyone use FFFG and the 250SST in your ML? If so, how many grains?

Start at 90gr 777 FFFG and work your way up. Don't be surprised if your groups start to open as you approach 120 grains of powder. Magnum loads aren't always better.

I really had no intention of shooting more than 100gr of FFFG, and was thinking of starting @ 80gr. I'm not a believer of the mag loads in a ML. The T7 loose powder is 15% more powerful than pellets, so 85gr would be like using two 50gr pellets, plenty powerful for my 250gr bullets.

I was just wondering if any members use this powder?

I'm using T7 FFFG (but with Remington .44 cal 303 gr .50 cal sabot).
I use 75 grs.......pushing a 303gr bullet at 1725 fps(chronographed)....2000ft lbs energy!! T7 in FFFG is hot ....start low!! Your accuracy will go to crap if you go too high!!!!
