Triple shock vs Partition vs Interbond vs Accubond vs ?

I've had great results on game with TSX's shotout of 30-06, 300 winny and 260 rem, partitions form the 260 and 30-06, accubonds outof a 308. Poor accuracy ofrm interbonds in a 7mm mag and 300 win mag.
My go to is the TSX if it's being driven 3000+ fps and \i am hunting anything bigger than a deer, on my whitetail only hunts I use a 308 with 150 r ballistic tips.

I've become a believer in the TSX for 7mm's and smaller (or anything else expected to impact at +3000fps). For anything bigger than 7mm I'll stick with a partition. Though I will say that the partitions scored extremely well in Steve's 260 shootout (partition vs tsx is essentially a tradeoff between expansion & frontal area vs. penetration)
I have shot and hunted with Partitions since 1967 or so. Never had any reason to criticise their accuracy nor their performance, and by now I have taken more than 100 head of game with them. Chamberings used include: 6mm Rem, 257 Bob, 25-06, 6.5x55, 6.5/06, 264 Win Mag, 270 Win, 7x57, 280 Rem, 7mm Rem Mag, 7mm STW, 30-06, 300 H&H, 300 Win Mag, 308 Norma Mag, 30-338, 8x57, 8mm Rem Mag, 338 Win Mag, 35 Whelen. The later design of Partition (No relief groove, Gilding Metal jackets)is more accurate than was the older one. In the past 4 years, I have been experimenting with the Accubond and the TSX. Both these bullets are very accurate in my rifles, but obviously I have not taken enough game with them to give a real solid opinion (two animals with the TSX, 5 with the Accubond) The Accubond was used at 60, 80, 160, 250 & 600 yards, the TSX at 75 and 180 yards) All kills were quick and decisive, with only one Accubond recovered. Accubond kills were with the 270, 280, and the 8x57. TSX with the 270 and 30-06. I also shot some Interbonds in my very accurate 270, my 7x57 and my 30-06, but found that they were not quite as consistently accurate as the others mentioned. Also one of my rifles copper fouled badly with the Interbond.
My go-to bullet is still the Partition, but there are other great bullets out there. Regards, Eagleye.

3000?
My custom 7x57 loves Barnes 140 TSX , damn sure that they are travelling well below 3000 fps. Have also tried them in 257 AI and they were minute of deer. I am going to order some 130gr for my 260 and see how they fly.
My partner shot two deer this year with the 110gr Accu out of the 257 Ackley, a nice mule in excess of 300 yards and a whitey inside of 100.
The other nice deer I saw get killer was with the 257 Roberts with the Hornady 117 BTSP, tremendous amount of shock damage from that well placed bullet. FS

Nowdays, I just use TSX's
They are accurate and kill well. Mostly bang-flops...
I also have used the 260gr Accubond in my 375 Ruger, and it dumped a black bear like..NOW

I used all aboved, and can say that it is almost like flip the coin thing.
I like Partition for the simple reason of standing strong for so many years and simply working good. It is not bonded bullet, but kills like bonded.
I will give a little edge to Accubond for its design and also quality. I am a big Nosler guy

i shot both partitions and tsx in my 257 weatherby this fall. the 100gr partition blew a 5 inch entrance hole and the shock split the guts, the bullet disintigrated and did not exit.
the 100 tsx was more accurate, but the pedals broke off half way through the deer leaving a 1/4 inch exit.
both deer are in the freezer.

From my experiences:
1) Nosler Partition
IMHO after all these years this is still the bench mark for all other premium hunting bullets. Front end consistantly opens while the back portion consistantly holds together and penetrates. I used the 140 almost exclusivley, sometimes at extreem velocities in my stw, on many moose, deer and bear at ranges from 50 yards to 500 yards and have never had one fail. Although not quite as accurate as some others in my rifles they are still plenty accurate for all my hunting applications.
2) Barnes TSX
Excellent accuracy with great weight retention and penetration but, in my experiences, inconsistant in the expansion department - sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Perhaps the new tipped version will change this. If so I could easily see this bullet becoming my new #1.
3) Nosler Accubond
Ballistic Tip accuracy with Partition like performance - what's not to like. Unfortunatley not quite as consistant a performer as the Partition or TSX in weight retention/penetration which seems to differ greatly depending on velocity, range and type of game.
