I had to bevel the front edge of the base pad a bit more then the factory does, and needed to install a higher cut mag catch in order to get the mags to run in my gun. When I ordered mine I was told inorder to get 10 rounds you had to use the flex follower, so thats what i got, not true. They will still hold 10 rounds if you get the Hybrid follower installed.

This is the info I got back from Tripp Research:

Our stock 10 rounder magazine will not fit in the box. Our 9 rounder will, as
well one our Custom Department makes. We call it the System magazine.
Depending on how you load, stock or long, we can make either a 40SW System Mag
or a 10MM System Magand they will hold 10 rounds and fit in the box. Custom
magazines are $38.95 and since we have to custom make them there isn't a
quantity discount, like for stock magazines.

I doubt it will, and if it does it will be a joke. Better off building a USPSA legal SS that way you could use it if the IPSC version does get approved, as one built to the propsed IPSC rule will not be legal in USPSA
 
USPSA has a weight limit,43oz, you have to use a bushing barrel, no extended dustcovers, limited slide modifications.page 82
The IPSC version will allow you to do anything you want to the gun as long as it fits in the box but they want to limit the size of the magwell.:rolleyes:
 
I ran the 9 rounders in mine with a home built magwell that sits flush to the bottOm of the mag and it would fit in the box with about an 1/8 to spare On my old springfield

Wish I knew back then I could have run ten! But I think shooting with 8 for a while then only 9 made me a better shooter for it.

I'm still shooting 9mm.

I am back on forth on the .40

I was going to trade for one and but it didn't quite happen yet.

I am going to be selling 2 or 3 pieces and then......?

Tell you what...you buy some mags and tell me how they work....lol
