Trius 1-Step Thrower assembly question

I picked up a Trius thrower a few months ago from Cabelas. Today I'm assembling and I noticed the thrower arm is pressed on at a fairly extreme angle. Just wondering if this is the way it's designed or if it's a factory assembly issue. Online pictures show some sitting flatter and some tilted a bit so I'm just wondering if this will be an issue.

Return it to Cabala's fully assembled, and get your money back!!

And if Cabala's dinks you around...Post it on here.

Cabala's sold me one of those fence post trap thrower's made by that Do All outfit.

The parts were soaked in fine machine oil to hide the rust on them. Cabalas sold me a POS.

I put it together and it did not work, and I returned it to them fully assembled. They used that POS as a floor exhibit.

I checked another box and the the parts were all rusted out, just like what I purchased. Those guys have no business morals.

Addendum:

And if it was mail order, and you live far away from a Cabalas get a return stub and send it back to them. Sometimes they tell you to keep the item.
