I think you should probably just get rid of all the wood entirely. replace it all with plastic. Needs to look more like this!!
Is that one of those .22 cal trainer Enfields? Looks like the bolt may have been adapted to a straight pull...you know, like a Ross!!!
I have a spray can of both green and black trimclad. If you have some masking tape we could totally give that an urban camo paintjob.
If you look online, anything in urban camo is at least $80 more then the boring wood finishes. We need to get that value up if you ever plan to sell it on the EE

K, you guys have made my day. Surprised no one mentioned extended mags yet ? Who doesn't need a .303 with a 30 round drop out ?
Original 20 round extended magazines for the SMLE and Lee Enfields are too scarce and precious, (read lots of $$$$) to put on something like this ordinary rifle. As we can not use a BREN magazine because it was originally designed for a Machine Gun, it would be necessary to fabricate your own.
Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of Belt fed.
After all, we would not want the RCMP to come knocking on your doorstep and arrest you for something illegal.
Is there a 9mm conversion. The ancient 303 is an antique obsolete therefore junk cartridge. Right? Also a retractable stock and folding foregrip would make this old fashioned.......thing, useful and cool. There is a reason originals are hard to find because they must have been just horrible on their own! New plastic on old rifles is awesome!
