If anyone is interested you can send a form e-mail to Air Canada, and West Jet voicing your displeasure at this stupid knee jerk reaction to an individuals stupidity....kinda sounds like the Liberals of past gov'ts.

Week it affects me as I hunt overseas at time, it's a stupid knee jerk reaction from a bullsh@t story about a lion.
 
FLHTCUI. I appreciate that you have an opinion but in this case it's kinda of a dumb comment if I may say so. It doesn't matter if I'm a big game hunter or not. There are those who hunt overseas. The thread was posted so that they may have a voice in expressing their displeasure. I would like to one day go to Africa and be able to bring back trophies if I'm blessed with that opportunity. As it is written" If one doesn't have anything intelligent to say then......."
 
After only 8 now 9 posts and you someday wish to go to the Deep Dark Continent and hunt.
Nothing wrong with this dream at all.
Seems like your thread is all about Cecil the Lion.
There are several threads about his demise and the letter writing has already begun due to airlines wishing to not carry Trophy Animals harvested in Africa or other countries as well.
So after 9 posts in 3 years you tell someone to .... Wow , thats intelligent, especially when I asked two simple questions.

FLHTCUI, the # of posts a guy has doesnt say anything positive or negative about that persons knowledge of hunting. And aside from that, this is much like the gun debates where you have old fuddy duddy's that thing all you need is a .22 and a pump shot gun that wouldnt support the gun owners that are all for keeping our semi auto pistols or rifles, but those old fudds SHOULD support them, because as soon as we loose support for one aspect and loose that "right" to own or do something, the #### heads start to chip away at the next thing they want to take away from us until its ALL GONE. So as a hunter in general, big game over seas trophy hunter or local small game duck hunter, we should all stick together to stop that chain reaction of one thing taken, then the next, and so on and so on.

Just my opinion.
 
It's irrelevant how many times I've posted. You assume (dangerous word) that I'm a newbie. That maybe so to this forum (I haven't felt the need to comment) but have been a member to multiple other hunting forums for years. I don't have to justify myself. You are correct with the "Cecil The Lion" remark. Maybe just not what you intended though. Because one A-hole decides to go a smoke a protected lion ruins it for everyone else...hence the thread about the ridiculous airline import bans. Personally I would question your motives on this forum. Trashing ones dream is poor form.
Your questions were relevant but with ridiculed intent.

rubberdown, I ask two questions and then get told to (fill in the blank here) because a person with x number of posts shows up to suggest a letter campaign be waged against airlines not carrying Trophies home from abroad.

Those that know that trophies from abroad generally come home either in a commercial air cargo hold or a commercial international courier and nine times out of ten as long as the item is legal to transport, the fees have been paid the items are packaged accordingly there is little worry about with what is being shipped home .

But, maybe my tinfoil hat ( I sell top notch ALCOA tinfoil hats in the EE section ) was working well enough that I didnt receive his message in the opening post

Hence , unlike your opinion mine mine was maybe clouded ...but I did receive the cussing out and that is fine I'm a big boy and a Union Thug too and also know a thing or two about boycots etc...

I thank you for your opinion and take it under great consideration, but as for the thread itself tiss purged after this last comment.

Watch for those tar snakes, makes it hard to keep the rubber stuck to the pavement.

Don't worry to much about your trophy shipments as most are brought over by cargo Lux anyway. It's a foolish decision on the air carriers behalf but if they want to loose money that's there business. And yes I do hunt Africa as much as my wallet allows
