Been on the fence about getting a better scope for my rem 700 in 223 that I'm setting up for a coyote rifle, pretty sure I'm going to pull the trigger on one during the Boxing Day sales only problem is I can't decide between a vortex (pictured) and a Bushnell (also pictured) planing on hunting on the ice so I'm expecting long distance just wanted to know what the you guys think given the application.

I hate to be like this but with the 223 best accuracy is under 300 yds for hunting especially in the wind . I like Bushnell better than vortex for what that's worth but pick the one that is clear glass over high power

Muellers

Oh and forget to ask has anyone here used the 8-32x44mm and 4-16x55mm mueller scopes? Think I saw them on Amazon. Good budget scope or garbage?

I'm newish to scopes but I just bought 2 vortex crossfire 2 4-12x44 and their both super clear at both low and high zooms.
P.s. plus the vortex no questions asked life time transferable warranty is nice to.

I have the Mueller 8-32x44 on a target rimfire, great on the bench but I sure would not want to hunt with it. Eye position is critical at higher power, and a lot of bulk to be carrying around on a hunting rifle. Just my opinion, ymmv. Between the other 2 I would go with Bushnell but I haven't looked at the AR line. I will agree with the Elite series though.

I think I'll be going with the vortex as the bushnell would probably require a rail to fit, plus the vortex would be less nonsense with its standard capped turrets and bdc reticle for range adjustments. My mind is blown by how crystal clear and bright the vortex was.
