trouble with .45 reloads

ok, well i flared a few a little less. and seated them at 1.275 and i crimped as much as it would allow before the top of the case touched the lil lip in the die, i really dont think i crimped it at all really tho. they feed fine and everything in the spartan, but the stupid ranger II and recoil master still doesn't feed em quite right. slide wont go all the way forward etc. and its havin a hard time ejecting the full cartridge. spartan is fine tho.

Try to crimp just a bit more.

One other thing you can try is seating and crimping in seperate operations. If you are loading single stage this means extra time at the bench, but will make a difference in the long run.
If you are using a progressive press you should be doing them seperate anyway.
What kind of press are you using?
Is the expander on a powder measure?

I use 'regular' Lee dies and haven't had any problems.

I don't think you should blame the ammo ;)
