Right out of the box, the windage turret won't turn. Elevation turret fine. Given this scope was made in Japan I expect high quality and am wondering is there some turret lock function I don't know about? I only get a recording at the Bushnell Warranty center and no answer yet to an email. Don't want to send it in if there is some easy way to solve the problem by my self. Anyone know if there's a turret lock mechanism? No mention of it in on line manual.
 
Pull the windage turret out as in away from the main tube. It might be a little stiff but it will pull out and then you can rotate it.
 
Tried but it didn't work. You can pull the cap out about 2mm before there is no gear engagement. Pulled about 1 mm and 1.5. still ridgidly locked. I'll have to send it in. Thanks for trying to help.
