Troy 102 upgrades?

Xcr pistol mags made for the robarms pistol work

Folding stock is a no go unless you put a law tactical folder on or a dead foot arms folder. Both are upwards of 300 with the law tactical closer to 400 if I Remember correctly. You can not fire the rifle with them folded.

Mine takes all mags AR10 type mags, what I initially thought was mag issues causing feeding problem were in fact a buffer spring that was too strong and causing short strokes.

A2 stocks should fit but you will have to change the buffer tube (it comes with telescopic one) and use proper buffer weights.
For folding stocks it should be able to take any options known to work on AR10, at least I don't any reason for it not to work since it uses regular threads.

I read your mod post. Since you've had yours for a while. Did we buy garbage?

Wow $300+! Why?

No, we did not buy garbage, gun works and is sub moa capable.
Switching a sub 20$ spring on those that might have an issue is not a big deal and my upgrades fixed everything.

Anyone know if standard AR take down pins work? Just got mine and I HATE the rear pin not sticking out for easy quick take down.

Funny you say that I was REALLY tempted to immediately upgrade to the Stag 10 because of that....

I have both, prefer the stag by far, not shot either yet (next weekend hopefully!) but looks wise the stag wins in every category. Kinda thinking about stripping the troy internals and throwing them into a stag receiver set.

I dont doubt it, but it is over $1k more

Could buy a whole nother gun for that much...

Not the second hand market, and I read that the next batch of troys (if more come...) will be back to the regular price so the price difference wont be that much.
