Troy Dioptic sights. To micro or not to mico

Hi Guys,

I was looking at these sights the other day, dreaming. And I was wondering, would you be better off getting the "Micro" or regular sized ones, for your standard AR-15 Flat top?

alright, in what case would the Micro come in handy?

Something with a higher rail to stock ratio. Like an ACR. The Micros sit a little lower, so if the difference between the height of your stock and your rail is greater, you want the sights a little lower.

The Micros WILL work on a normal AR-15 - but you'll likely need to squish your face into the stock a little more to get your line of sight lower.

Standard flat top AR sight height is 1.5". Micro's are 1 1/8". You would have to roll your head over and mash your cheek into the stock to use them.
