That is said with the benefit of 20/20 hindsight, Mike. The family involved took up arms against law enforcement in the course of their lawful duties. The minute you pull a gun or threaten a law man with a gun - you are going to war and you can expect casualties. Battles with the cops take place in the courts. Contrary to the anarchists and libertarians the courts will not cut them ANY slack, and they DO get punished all the time for incompetence and mistakes. I am not taking sides on the Ruby Ridge affair... but mistakes were made on both sides.

They were given orders to Kill-On-Site if any of them were armed, in the middle of bear country, according to the Ruby Ridge Rules Of Engagement that were drafted. And to kill their little dog, too.
It's almost like how the police will arrest anybody wearing anything black during any kind of protest. Black shoes? You're going to jail after getting beat up and facebones crushed by some fat tub kneeling on your head. All because the premise was to get rid of Black Bloc or whatever they are.

I agree that it was a cluster of biblical proportions, guys. But those cops have families the same as you or I do, they had their boots on the ground and they had to decide whether the guns were for the bears or themselves. And I'm sorry, I just don't trust the media anymore. They have told enough lies about the lawful gun owner to sink a battleship and their cover of this affair is probably up to their usual standards.

I run Samson on all my AR's, both the pop up and manual fold, I kinda like the manual fold as they lay flat right against the rail, the spring loaded store just off the rail a bit due to the spring tension, just a small OCD thing there.
Both are nice small compact sights, I like them.

Ok so I am looking at a tritium front sight and that diamond shaped rear sight. Who else makes this in a quality folding sight and in Stock somewhere?
AFAIK, only Troy makes the front Tritium & Dioptic rear sights.
Checkout Diamondhead sights.
I've seen them in person and they're really top quality.
They have 45 degree offset sights also.
I have a set of Dueck Defense A2 style offset sights and a set of Noveske marked Troy's on the way for my Noveske.
