Not really when you consider the money I wasted on an ARMS #18 that wouldn't align properly.

Steveo is the Troy made of aluminum? I ask because I was looking at that as a possible scope mount and rail combo, but I'm concerned that if it's aluminum it won't hold zero as well as the more traditional 3 point steel scope mounts. Also it looks like you have to lose part of the rear sight assembly or am I wrong?

It's aluminum. You have to remove the rear sight as it uses the sight mounting ears as it's rear attachment point.
