For a couple of month I've been looking for a Troy MCS chassis for my 305 but cannot find any anyone know where to get one. BTW I was anxious to see the blackfeather but I have to say I'm a little disapointed since it's about the same price as the troy but you still need a scope mount so it get a bit more expensive. And don't tell me they are heavy (speaking of the troy), I don't care, I have no plan to walk for hours whit it anyway.

Your best bet is probably the EE, you'll occasionally see one or two pop up there.
I got mine on there and couldn't be happier with it.

The Blackfeather "RS" includes a free CASM GEN II scope mount (supplies are limited for this promotional debut only) and is priced at $599.95 + tax and $30 shipping. The Troy MCS, in Canada, was an $849.95 rifle stock (I do not know the current price). The last place I saw these available was from Fabsports.

If you like, I can obtain one for you, however, I beleive it is missing a rear adapter screw which you would have to source. Price is $800 shipped to any location in Canada. I can have it in the post Monday. Please PM if interested. (It is black).

I will give the OP first take on it for two days as I need to contact the individal who has it.

Thank-you.

TSE is waiting to get some TROY MCS in, and there price is $599 NEW, that being said i would wait rather than paying $850 for something used... Im on the list... here's hoping.

Thanks for the reply. (It was $850 just 3 years ago + tax and shipping!). But yes, if that is the case, $550 seems like a fairer price used, shipped?

I'll leave it for the OP to decide however, you should compare Blackfeather closely with the Troy MCS prior to making your purchase.

Key Features of The Blackfeather® “RS” Rifle System Include:

· Enhanced accuracy via a “tunable,” self-lubricating, quad-locked oprod guide with a steel anti-wear plate
· The first M14 “keyed in a track system” of removable picatinny rails at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock
· The first M14 interchangeable butt stock back end adapter (available as low | high & folding in 2012)
· Adaptability for all AR15 butt stocks (carbine, fixed tube and rifle)
· Natural ergonomics (trigger group scalloping affords trigger finger ready position, US GI curved fore end)
· Superb balance, handling and light weight (2.8lbs. with Magpul pistol grip & Ace Ltd. UL-M buttstock)
· Ease of disassembly (remove one grade 8 frame bolt and your trigger group)
· CNC machined receiver bedding based on original US GI drawings ensure tight receiver to stock fit (the Troy MCS uses 3 screws to obtain a proper receiver to stock fit vs relying on US GI drawings for receiver bedding so Blackfeather offers a tighter marriage between rifle and stock and free floats the barrel forward of the oprod guide. The Troy MCS does not.).
· Interchange of components like no other: system “fits” rifle to rifleman as situations demand
· Availability of additional M14.ca oprod guides allows M14 barrel/receiver groups to be swapped quickly, at a cost savings, much like AR15 "uppers" (numerous configurations with multiple rifles possible)
· Availability of multiple compatible scope mounts for the M14.ca Blackfeather include the CASM, CASM “GEN II” in aluminum and steel, the CASM “MRD” red dot mount and the CASM “RD” mount.

Jesus, the guys asked for a troy, not a sales pitch LOL

:p Heh heh...I was just providing information. To be fair, here is the write up from TSE for the Troy. As mentioned, OP, send me a PM if you'd like the Troy, I will set that up, otherwise by Friday, it will be sold.
