good pics, but i need a pic straight down the barrel too see the gas block and how tight it is to the barrel

If I understand correctly... You can use any type of standard lo-pro block and you will have more then enough clerance... Im using a Noveske Lo-pro with mine...


On topic I have a questions. Which retailer are able to get MRF rails? I'm looking for 12" MRF-CX rails

That Troy MRF front end looks different then when I last had one. It looks like they've left more material inside. Check out this front view off of MM's website:

I have a standard gas block under mine that was originally the front sight too. Could not get the flash hider off to swap in a lo-pro gas block, so I used a hacksaw and cut the front sight post off at an angle, rail fits over the remaining gas block with room to spare.
