This may be old news to some, but news to me .....
The current "Guns & Ammo" magazine has an article on the Troy Industries PAR (Pump Action Rifle), essentially a pump action AR 15.
This in response to the New York ban on semi-auto AR 15's. Looks like a winner and I expect other makers to get in on the market.
It has the psychological edge of the "whack-rack" sound when chambering a round, much like a pump action shotgun. I recall a similar rifle that was a pump action M1 Carbine in various calibres. The time has come for these yet again.
The antis must already be planning a counter measure .....
