Troy PAR in 223: Are they still available in Canada?

I want one. Im so scared of the Turd winning. Ill definitely import one. Im on their site and seeing some new models. (dif stocks?)
How would you know if its been "upgraded", and if it still has the fluted chamber? If not I would just rebarrel to 6.8.

Also what would the drawbacks be to the Straight pull action? I guess ergonomically with Pump action you dont take your hand off the rifle. But in Straight pull you could ugrade to any handguard you want. I love my Brigand and Smoke stock combo and want some way to be able to use them if He gets in and future proof my Gucci AR parts, cause at some point, the mag fed Semi's will be banned, just way too many idiot voters now

If you take a semi auto and modified the sear catch to lock the action in the rear position at
Each shot necessitating the bolt release button to be activated for the next shot it would
Take the Ar-15 out of the semi auto class! Now put an extension to the forehand to activate
The bolt release and you now need two hands to operate the rifle !
Am I wrong here, is there a fact that I am not aware that would preclude that from working?

It wouldn't matter, as the AR-15 is "named" restricted, it is not restricted by barrel length, etc. The lower is the registered part, and could be used on any AR-15 upper, semi-auto or not, so you cannot move an AR-15 to a place where it is not deemed a semi.

Fair enough for the Ar-15 but lets say a wk-180 or any semi auto rifle that are permitted today but might not be tomorrow?

This is what it says on their spec page, "Brass cased ammunition only. Other types of casings can cause malfunctions and may damage the rifle."

Why would that be?

My suggestion would be to reserve the 'Straight Pull' for the range - I expect the experience will be similar to a K-31. If hunting is your thing, the 'Pump' might be the way to go.

irunguns.ca had them.

The folding stock is great, however doesn’t lock easily. Also came me with A2 grip rather than Troy grip.
