I just got a Troy rear sight in the mail today. I am getting some free goodies from my son(AR rear stock, a pistol grip and new fore stock) I bought the NEA adapter with the rail and put it on today to see how the sight would look on it. Well it is way to high, might work if all my shots were at 1000 yds.
So now what to do, higher front sight? I am not sure which way to go and don't want to throw a ton of money at it. I am also getting a BC tactical rear sight replacement rail, but not sure what to do with that either.
Any ideas? Cheers Roscoe

Maybe I read this wrong, but your using an AR height rear sight on the railed stock adapter with the factory front sight? You'll need something like the NEA barrel clamp, which will the on the same plain as the rear rail, to mount an AR front sight to.

or mount the front sight on the railed upper handguard.
