TRS25 position - front or rear scope base?

What and why are the preferences
Smaller dot in the forward position for better accuracy?
Either seems to work for two-eyes-open

it is more your eyes that will tell you. both works well.

I have a Burris Fastfire mounted on a Ruger 10/22 Take-Down. I have a VQ extended rail so I could mount the site well forward. Front or back, either way works well but my preference for a red-dot or hollow site is way up front.

I put mine on the forward base on my 10-22.
