Tru Glo Fiber Optics

I'm gonna get one of these put on my rifle tomorrow, but I'm not sure which colour works best at certain times or seasons. So I'd like a few opinions. Who uses them and which colour do you find works best?

I haven't used the 'Truglo' brand, but all my open sight rifles have the red 'Firesights'. Same, same, I think.

I really like them. Great in low light or shooting against a dark target.

I shot a bear on Monday morning. She was running right at me so I was in a bit of a hurry to shoot her. Took me a few seconds to align my brass pin into my peep. I have a hard time lining the brass up quick. So I noticed one of the guys in camp had a fiber optic pin for his front sight, with a peep in the rear. So while we were walking down the road I asked him if I could take a look. I picked something as a pretend target, and pulled up on it quick. His was an orangy red colour and I could put it in line with the peep much faster than my brass pin. So I'm going to get a fiber optic front pin tomorrow. I think I'm going to get a red one like his, but I wasn't sure if maybe green held the light better in low light situations.

After I get that done, I'll be back up north to camp to finish off the 2 week deer season

I put a red tru-glo sight on my rifle this morning I like it.

I have the lower budget clip on version from Wall mart on my shotgun, and I have to say they are pretty nice.

My wife's muzzleloader has Truglo sights with the red front and green rear. She has had them on for the last 5 or 6 years and realy likes them.
