Truck undercoat?

Washed and waxed three weeks ago. This is a 2005 F150 always driven in Ontario with the ####tiest drivers around and literally metric tons of salt used every year.



This is about five minutes ago. I wiped some of the rust proofing off of the frame. There is no rust. Trust me spend the money on rust proofing. Undercoating is useless.

Buy a new unfilled sprayer

I think I'd like to go the Fluid film route. The stuff sure keeps my shotgun from rusting.

But short of buying the aerosol cans for $15.00 a can, how can I spray on a gallon of it without a compressor and spray gun?

Motor oil won't flow through a garden sprayer very well, no spray at all. You could thin it down or use an old fashioned oil can, but it will be slow going

My mom bought a late 80's early 90's Volvo off a friend of the family in Ottawa, he oiled annually. It still is rust free and she drives it rain or shine or salted winter roads. I did an oil change on it when I was bask home one summer, I was so oily from crawling under to get at the oil pan drain bolt it was crazy.
