If its chump change for the banned firearms I would rather have them deactivated and mounted on the wall as pieces of history and art. No way I'll accept $200 for a $1000+ firearm.

The notion that there would be a fair market after a gun ban is flawed beyond imagination. The only market left would be the black market. We all know that guns sold on the black market go for a whole lot more than they do in the current legal stream. So I would really like to hear from Bill Blair how he intends on consulting the black market book values to determine what the "fair market" value of my legally-acquired-turned-prohibited property is.

this is pretty much what the rumour was he was announcing at that womans conference a few months back, what kicked off the biggest gun purchasing spree in Canada in years, maybe ever, you know, the ban that never came, well here it is folks, he just stuck it in his back pocket to whip out when he made an ass of himself...im surprised it took this long

Of course, same here, too much at stake if we start to sway with our firm resolve to vote CPC, but lot's of emotional response from many CPC voters if you read their angry comments, rightly so since rebel news media was always heavily leaning right and supporting CPC in their reports, just to be booted out and arrested as if he was a petty thief... And if this event took place some years ago why would rebel news raise dust about it just now?
Something bigger must be at play here, but regardless of this incident we must remain firmly grounded and unswayed, CPC all the way.
