The reason i say troll alert, is that it would seem that this is more like an effort to post somthing that would smear the entire law abiding firearm community on their boards. A radical post...followed by a bunch of posts in agreement would suit a leftie rag like the huff post perfectly in a smear article going after people they would frame as right wing crazies.
Although the UN program is of common knowledge now....after getting called out by world leaders on the world stage.....it does our community an injustice to go down that road right now...in that way
As far as UN troops "amassing on the mexican border" to disarm america.....there is no evidence of this...and the very fact that americans were so well armed during WW2, that the japanese were hesitant on invading the american homeland because of "a gun behind every blade of grass".....this coming from a well organised world power on a military campaign of expansionism.
And they are far more armed as a population today, so it would be pretty hard to hide a secret covert force of blue helmets that is more powerful than the japanese navy/army was...
We need to keep things real, so we dont bring harm to our community in the public eye

If you vote for us we are going to require a check from you for ten thousand dollars. We will pay you back part of it based on the condition of the cheque later. This is you doing your your bit for safety and the environment. Thanks.
Would you vote for them? Even if you loved the rest of their platform?

That’s what all of you people who keep PMing me to vote liberal and NDP are suggesting my wife and I do and it really needs to stop.
We are out /ten thousand dollars/ in a couple of very high end rifles if the liberals are elected and people keep saying #### to me like: oh so you only care about guns, but you live in Yellowknife, the arctic where the environment is changing the fastest.
It’s asinine to suggest anyone vote to immediately lose ten thousand dollars of property.
The buyback is a lie. 78,000 AR-15s in Canada valued between 1000 and 3500. Four hundred and fifty thousand SKS rifles valued at 300. Hundreds of other models of semi autos ... a rough estimated count of numbers is close to 2 or 3 billion dollars, possibly even higher.
250 million budgeted.
The latest rumour now is that there won’t even be a check cut or any payment ... it will be a tax credit instead.
So you are asking us to give up ten thousand dollars for a tax credit or ten thousand dollars to be paid partially back by our own tax money.
Doesn’t that seem a bit asinine to you?

Voting a certain politician or party ain’t gonna so ####. I like the PPC party. Friends of ours are running as candidates. My riding is on the fence of liberal or conservative, no brainer. If PPC was on the cusp of kicking out a liberal candidate, my vote would go that way.
Sad to see such a nice rifle go. And... I have illuminated scope in the mail for it. ####!

I really really doubt they will actually do a buyback. They are saying buyback now in hopes that the more liberal gun owners will still vote for them thinking they will at least get their money back on their firearms. But my expectation is that the buyback part will be the aspect of gun confiscation they do not follow through on (like they didn't follow through on so many other promises). Sadly, I am certain they will live up to the campaign promise of confiscation.

There is no requirement to keep them in working order. There is, however, a requirement to advise the CFC whenever a restricted or prohibited firearm changes classification as a result of being modified. You also have to inform them when a restricted or prohibited firearm ceases to be a firearm (i.e. once deactivated or destroyed). There is no legal restriction preventing you from destroying your own property -- you simply have to inform the CFC when a registered or prohibited firearm has been destroyed.
As enamoured as many seem to be with the idea of handing in lower receivers encased in cement, I can't help but wonder what the powers-that-be would do when people start handing in lumps of slagged aluminum. You're perfectly within your rights to melt a lower receiver -- and then, of course, to call it in as having been very, very deactivated
. When the time comes, if they still want it, they can have it ... that misshapen lump of metal. But way deep down, I suspect they'll forever be wondering ... do they now have a melted down lower receiver ... or just some melted beer cans?
Of course, this is nothing more than spirited conjecture while we all focus on the much more relevant topic of getting the CPC elected.

It used to be that a nations debt, even as a result of war, was paid off within 20 years so as to not saddle the next generation with this generations problems and circuses. The Liberals intend to not only saddle this generation, but the unborn.

What does this tell you about their real motives for ignoring voters and ramming through one infantile group trade agreement after another with other countries?

You don't have to study every issue — health care, international trade — all you have to do is use this X-ray machine, this Vulcan mind-meld, to get beyond their empty words and find out how politicians really feel. He doesn't like the idea of anyone other than police having guns, he expects to be able to make up his own laws and doesn't care if that's illegal (g-20 'fence' law), and thinks we should all be good little citizens who do what we're told.
The liberals are a very statist party. They're not really true socialists, but they do believe that the gov't should run everything and that people should either WANT to do what they're told by the gov't or be FORCED to if they don't want to because obviously they don't know what's best for themselves.

Not the time to vote PPC. It’s just like voting for a friend who u think is pro gun. Since he/she can’t win anyway hence can’t legislate or drive policy. If JT and the Libs plus NDP form a coalition there won’t be any legal guns to fight for in the next four years.
