I had a truglo front red fibre optic sight put on my Remington Semi-Auto rifle last year because I had trouble finding the standard brass front bead on my rifle when trying to take down a bear before he took me down. I didn't like that so I had the fibre optic put on the front. Last night I took my peep sight off the rear of my rifle and installed the fibre optic open sights that came with the front sight I bought last year. I think I like it better than the peep.
We do a lot of doggin' at my hunt camp and I'm wondering whether I'm better off with the fibre optic open sights on the rear, or the Williams peep sight I had on it before...
I usually have shots at moving deer, and it's pretty thick woods up there, and I stay out till dark a lot of times too.
I'm just curious about other peoples opinions and preferences?
