In 2004, I swore that I would never buy another Ruger again, maybe swore is a bit strong but I was determined not to be burned by them again. I had purchased a .243 Mk2, 77/22 Hornet, 10/22 22LR, and a .270 Mk 2. Not a one of them could shoot well - I spent a fair bit of cash and time trying to get them to shoot and less complete barrel swaps I ended up trading them in or selling them. At that point in time, I was adamant that I wouldn't be hurt again by Ruger - :*( But I keep looking at a 77/22 hornet and it seems like such a nice rifle (blued, walnut, flush mag with high capacity) and the temptation is there to try my luck again. So the question is: Should I buy another Ruger 77/22 Hornet? I am looking at the lightweight model with the blued barrel/walnut stock. Has QC gone up or am I asking for disappointment and more tears?
