Is there anybody that uses a tool like the one below?

If so any comments, I am going to see if I can make one for one of the cartridges that I reload for to see if it would be worth the cost.
I am a gadget nut and I think it is right up my ally.

I have, many years ago tried to straighten cartridges in a manner not unlike this but it was very time consuming and I eventually found it easier to just tweak my loading technique and purchase better dies. For limited runs of factory ammo in rare calibers it might have some use.

I use a nearly identical tool made by Neco, for all my match loads. Even with the most careful reloading you will get some that have excessive runout, for matches I check all with a runout gauge and fix the ones that need it using this simple tool

After some planning and a piece of 1" thick aluminum with a selection of drill bits I now have my very own aligning tool with room for more calibers.
This really does work. After drilling the first set of holes and trying it out on some reloads that were truly pointed in the wrong direction by as much as .010", I have been able to true them up to under .002" with no change to the shoulder or case body. Next step is to see how they shoot and compare them with the ones that I have not straightened.
Should be interesting.
