I've searched the site looking for some indication of a fair asking price but am coming up empty.
I'm planning on selling my first pistols purchase with my shiny new RPAL but can't find some info required to do so.

First, trying to find out how to determine where my Tokarev came from. I see that it was made in 1947 but the rest of the markings are beyond my knowledge. Once I determine that, I can start knocking the price down due to obvious wear. It does work though as I tested it out over Christmas and it'll come with 5 mags and a couple boxes of ammo.

Second, I have a Norinco M93 Sportsman but again, searching through EE got me nowhere. It's new, unused with original box and 2 mags.

Finally, what would be the selling value vs. the trading value?

I paid $169 new for my M93.

As the previous person said, about $200 for a TT-33 with a couple mags, unless it was unused, then it would be more like $250.

TT-33 magazines are probably worth about $20 each.

Then you have shipping will you pay or will they pay money you paid in tax's ect. For a pistol like that I don't see the point in selling it for the amount of work time and shipping you might as well keep it's your first pistol after all and once it's gone it's gone.

Tokarevs go for 160 with two mags usually
And the m93, you can get used with one mag for 130-145 once every two weeks Or so it seems, so I'd start it at 160
If it were me at least, cause I've bought a m93 last week and sold a tt33 two months ago lol
