Trying to find information on grandfathers 22, I think it’s a Remington model 12

I am looking for more information on a 22 pump I inherited from my grandfather. It is a Remington tube fed pump action, there is no model markings on the rifle itself. The only markings beside Remington is on the barrel where it says “Pendersens Patents Jan 5 1909, Oct 12 1909, Mar 9 1910, Nov 21 1911, April 19 1912.” The serial number is in the 326 000 series. If anyone can confirm the model and maybe tell me more about this I would be appreciative

Yes, it's a model 12. There were other variants of B and C, but not sure if yours is one of them. What does the butt plate look like - flat or crescent?

Most of these now have poor bores because early rimfire ammo was corrosive.

Nice find.

x2 on it being a model 12.
I have a 12C, and it has a hex barrel. My original barrel's bore is terrible, and have a second barrel that is only marginally better.

I have had my hands on some nicer ones though...fun to shoot. Mine can accept s, l, and lr.

Give it a good looking over, and have some fun. These were made before "Hyper" lr ammo, and I would avoid using it.
