Trying to ID a shotgun

It occurred to me that there might be a way to identify that Turkish semi I’ve got, so I tried to scrape off the spraypaint covering up the manufacturer name on the side of the receiver. I didn’t get much, especially after I had the dumb idea to try acetone to clean it up.

Should have done it under a microscope with a pick instead of on the bench with a knife.

Still a couple of letters do show up, and the font (especially the swoopy upper case A) looks like it should be distinctive. These two letters are approx the 2nd quarter of the word. It isn’t enough to google, but I’m hoping someone out there will recognize it from this photo.

Has anyone seen a brand marking like this? Can they ID the make?

I hope I never have to write down the serial number, as is is similarly painted over on the other side.

Wipe it with lacquer thinner, get rid of some of the paint and take another picture... the picture you have is not 'readable'

Much slow and careful scraping under a microscope with a sharp knife and the mystery is solved. It is a "Warrior" brand, sold back in the day by Corwin Arms.

It's that heavily stylized "W" at the front that threw me.

Still no closer than I was to parts/data, but at least it's been ID'd.
