trying to id an anchutz .22

So I just inherited an anschutz .22 but its missing the magazine. I've been trying to figure out what model it is. About all I can say for sure is it was imported by CIL which means its from the 60's and that its stamped .22 s.l.l.r. does anyone know someone I can talk to that can shed some light on what im looking at?

Its here because as far as I can tell this gun is 60years old. Is that not an antique?

As for the pictures I'm useless at getting pictures to work on forums so I've given up. It is a bolt action there is no model number whats so ever, ill try Nordic marksman to see if they can help.
 
CIL imported and branded Anschutz into Canada , the bolt actions were
Model 125's , 171's semi auto's were model 310's .

All .22 lr magazines 5 & 10 shot were interchangeable.
 
Why don't you just google for pictures and see what looks similar or the same?

But this might be too much work for some. It's much easier to ask others to do the work while expecting immediate answers.
 
Antique when it comes to firearms is definitely not 1960s. The rimfire forum would have more information. Or the Anschutz forum on Rimfire Central.

I am no expert, but assuming it's a bolt action those were just modified 64 actions, meaning the current Anschutz mags should work just fine. You should double check before dropping $70 on a new magazine though.

This what I've been doing. From what I've been able to green from Google and other forums it looks like its a model 125.

Now to try and find a magazine for it
 
A magazine shouldn't be too hard to find. They fit more than that model. But you might not like the price. I have a 125 and the mag fits my Anschutz Achiever. I was lucky as mine came with 3 mags.

Not even remotely. For discussion purposes, an antique firearm is generally accepted as one that is pre 1898/1899, and legally codified as such in both the USA and Canada. Legal definitions limit the breadth of this coverage, as not all pre 1898/1899 firearms are considered legally antique. A 60-year-old .22 rimfire repeater most definitely does not fall into antique, as it's practically just as modern as anything you can buy today.

It's a flobert 2 action 125. 125 will be stamped on the front Receiver below the scope mount. If it's NOT stamped I would certainly like to know about it please ... with a pic if possible. There's info in the Hunting rifle forum under Canadian Industries Limited (CIL) Firearms. Mags are available through Nordic.
Enjoy her... they are a lovely little rifle if maintained.
 
Anschutz rifles are generally not thought of as antiques, especially those made after WWII.

All Anschutz bolt action .22LR repeaters use the same magazine.

CIL imported .22LR bolt action Anschutz models that they put the CIL stamp on with a new model number.

The CIL-imported rifles included three 64 action models, the CIL Anschutz 180 and CIL Anschutz 190 (both of which are single shot rifles intended for target shooting and came with aperture sights) and the CIL Anschutz 310, a repeater that is the same as the Anschutz 1416. The 180 is the same as the Anschutz 1402A, while the 190 is the same as the Anschutz 1403.

CIL also imported three Flobert action models, including the CIL Anschutz 111 and 167, which are single shot sporters, and the 125 which is a repeater sporter that's the same as the Anschutz 1400. The 111 is probably the Anschutz 1365 and the 167 seems to be the 1386.
 
Ive got a couple of CIL 125’s and both shoot everything well. They are “economical” rifles to say the least, but perform well.
Ive taken generic Remington 22 mags (et al) and modified them very easily to fit my 125. And at a used cost for around 15 each at shows, considerably cheaper than mags that have Ans..... on the baseplate.
