I have the top half on but cannot manage to get the bottom half in? It sits on an angle and is too hard to push into the front holder. Any tips or ideas?

I just bought it through the mail it is a YHM 2 piece, I tried to download the PDF from their site to no avail. It is going on a Imperial Defense 10.5. Thanks.

I`m gonna pull my hair out!!! I can get the bottom half in, then no go with the top, and the same the other way around. I`m getting ready to throw stuff...

I know with our (KAC) RAS that some (non milspec) barrel profile dimensions forbid the installation.

Do you know the barrel diameter of yours at the front?

One of these:

Or just get a helper to hold the delta ring down while you put the rails on. Much easier.

To be honest I have zero problem pulling the ring down all on my own, I have now done that over a dozen times. Its just the damn rail not snapping down.

Hey thanks for your help. I have had them both on just not at the same time, so the diameter is all good. They fit fine on there own just cannot get them on together. I have tried top first, then bottom and the other way around too.

Sounds like your rails are a tad too long.

Only one way I see possible after acrashb's leverage suggestion is to shave a little off the back end of both rails. Compare them to the guards that do fit on togeather.

I ordered 2 of them and the other on fit perfectly on a stag arms upper, thad, have you tried it on your bushmaster and see if it fits that ??

has anyone else mounted a quad rail on the imperial defense rifles ?

I will measure the length compared to the stock hanguards and try on the Bushmaster, thanks.

6 5/8 for both so that is out. The bottom half does have two round posts that meet the top half at the front of the rail, thinking that those were impeding the two to join I did grind them away but still no go. I guess I will just have to take them to a smith who can hopefully make them work.

Nope the end that needs to enter the cup is easily spotted as is the back end that goes under the delta ring. I am charging the batteries for the camera to snap a pic for you guys. I will not sleep till this works...

so how come you cannot push it all the way into the front..... have you tried tapping it lightly with a rubber mallet ? or deadblow hammer ?

Ha we think alike, I did get it ready but it is hard to try to tap it at the position it is at, I have a second pair of hands and brain coming over to see if we can make it work.
