Have looked all over for a small quality built front rifle rest like this:

h ttp://www.stoneypoint.com/products/ac_bench_rest.html

Older or newer model would suffice.. this would be for wife's Ruger 10/22 SS

Have looked at Bipods and have one on back order for my other rifle CZ452 American..

Any help finding an equal to or better unit that won't break the bank would be appreciated.

Thanks

Seen some of those at wholesale in Saskatoon they were more then the caldwel ones.

I got this one. Works pretty good and cheap as well.

maybe try a scissor jack from Princess Auto and rig it up like this (google image search "scissor Jack DIY rest" if this link doesn't work

Really not much to tell, I built the stock myself from russian birch plywood from home depot. Rifle is a shortened savage axis 223
