Trying to understand why thread locked down?

Why would a mod lock down a thread, with no forum rule violations, and not even being a member of IPSC Ontario??

Seems like a very Liberal thing to do to shut down civil conversation.

Because any discussion about IPSC that isn't sunshine and rainbows isn't permitted. It must be shut down

Didn't help anyone's case that the thread came out guns 'a' blazin', roasting volunteers.

IPSC has a bit of a reputation for sure, but it's up to them if they want that to change. Once again, they're volunteers and don't have the resources to hold everyone's hand. As someone that's been struggling to find a BB course that works for me for over a year so I can give IPSC a try, I understand that.

To each their own! Neither side of the argument needs to be a jerk - that's when sh*t gets shut down.
