So I finally found a box of new 7.63 x 25 and it worked great in my TT-33. It was a nice light report and at 12 yards it shot well. At 15 I was all over the place but that was the cold and me. I tried this a few months ago but the 30 mauser I had was rather old likely 70-80 years.

Here is a video of the new stuff vs 7.62x25

The price is crazy for 7.63 but the brass can be reloaded.

You must be one of those east coast millionaires, with tons of money to waste! :)

The surplus ammo presently on the market shoots perfectly fine, at 25% of the cost of the 7.63 mauser ammo.

Here is a target I shot yesterday with my Poltok, weaver stance at 15 m (3 magazines, 24 shots).
I consider myself a lousy shot, therefore all the credit goes to the gun and ammo.

I have to admit, that my range was not as freezing cold as yours.

This is what I got today from 25m.
Not bad for 60 years old gun but when I was using gray ammo I had jamming every second time, with yellow stuff no problem what so ever. I got gun from Kelly and ammo from Marstar 270 for 2280. Just wondering if anybody is having the same problem?

My TT-33 is a 1944 and the fit and finish are well a little rough. It never hurts to have options split a box with a buddy :) The surplus is great in the winter because you don't have to chase brass.
