Tt-33 firing pin. I may have someone to make them.

So long story short I broke a firing pin on my Tt33 and can't find one anywheres. I did find a Someone who could make one for me and I though that others may want them. I was going to try and guage intrest in this thread to see if it would be worth it to get a bunch made.

I don't know the price point as of yet as he hasn't made mine yet but they shouldn't be too much money.
 
I'm thinking about buying a TT-33, let us know what the price works out to be as I'd likely buy a couple spare firing pins, an them being MODERN materials should last much longer then the factory ones that are up to 80 years old.
 
Well I had two guns and one broke so I sent my good one away. I am really hopefull that he can make them at a cheap price because as of right now I have two paper weights.

You have got to be joking, KWA is a cheap ass airsoft company, putting any of those airsoft TT33 parts in a real one WILL result in severe injury or death.

God damn, for $10 more you can get an entirely new pistol out of Vancouver.
 
Unless the guy making them is a professional gunsmith, I wouldn't take the chance and would source a legit TT firing pin.

The guy making them has been a "professional" machinist for 35 years. This including making hundreds of thousands parts for different firearms including making me parts for other rifles that were very hard to come by.
 
Let me know what the price is.
I've put over a thousand rounds through my Russian and haven't had a single issue yet. But I'd still like to have a spare for sure.
If it's around the $10-$20 range I'm in, if not, I'll just buy a "donor" parts TT33 off the EE for $160.

Consider too that the pins need to be properly heat treated if they are to give a long life and not be too hard and brittle or too soft and end up with the ends mushrooming over time. Unless you can find information on the hardening values for firing pins the best machine work around won't do the job for long.
 
DONT BUY A NUMRICH PIN!

They are too short and simply do not work

There is another outfit in the states that does make the correct pin. The name escapes me right now. They will ship to Canada if you phone or email them. I'll try to remember
