tt-33 Lanyard

Hey I was wondering if anybody out there had a picture of a lanyard for the TT-33. I'm looking to get one for my Tok but I don't even know what it looks like! I want an original one. is there a difference between it and the Lanyard for the Nagant revolver? any comments, photos, or links would be of great help.

Tokarev lanyard is brown leather, Nagant is woven fabric. Both have snap hooks.

Brown leather. Stitched @ both ends, no rivets. Hook has a square swivel and the hook has a backing spring. If it's riveted and has a ringed hook made of overlapping flat wire like a dog's leash, it's a repro.

Get in touch with TEC Tradeex (a site sponsor - link at the top of the page) as they are the primary importer of the current batch of TTs. Usually have spare parts kicking around.

a lot of them have the rivets or are trying to sell the nagant "cord" off as a tt-33 lanyard. also, does the lanyard have an attachment point to the holster...or is it completely seperate?

Lanyard can attached to the field belt, belt loop on holster etc. by feeding the free end through the closed loop.
