TT-33 problem

Hi all,
just got home from the range and need some advise on a problem with my Tokarev. It's worked fine for the few hundred rounds that I've put through it so far but today after about six magazines the hammer isn't cocked after every shot. It ejects the spent cartridge and chambers a new one but the hammer isn't cocked. I've dismantled it and other than the firing pin retainer being looser than I remember it being I can't see anything obvious. The hammer stays cocked when I rack the slide manually and when I #### it like a single action after the first shot.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
Take a look at your hammer assembly and look to see if the bottom of the disconnector has been broken off. Here is a huge pic of what it should look like...

No, the disconnector looks like the one in the picture, albeit much smaller. This may be a difficult one to figure out since it does exactly what it should do without firing it.
 
Rack the slide so the hammer is cocked, pull the trigger to drop the hammer and keep the trigger pulled, now with the trigger still pulled, rack the slide again and see is the hammer stays back....
Post a pic of the disconnector if you can.
 
On closer examination of your giant photo I see the problem. Behind the disconnector, slightly out of focus in your picture, that flat metal piece is broken off. It's the part with the pin that moves up and down in front of the hammer. Now to find a good schematic so I know what I'm looking for. Any idea's of where to begin my search?
 
Followed your advise and with the trigger still pulled the hammer follows the slide back and doesn't stay cocked. Any idea where I might find a disconnector, Marstar is sold out.
 
My tt-33 had the same problem, the tip of the sear snapped off. Replaced it with a new sear from tradeex and problem solved.
