I’m highly fond of the Yugoslavian M-57’s if you can find one, they hold an extra round as well.
Back to the 2 you mentioned, the Romanian ones you find tend to have more wear on them where a lot of the Chinese surplus ones are basically as new (could just be that particular import). They were military ones not some commercial Norinco production. If you can handle in person, try dropping the slide with an empty mag inserted, all the Romanians and polish ones I handled could do that but not all the Chinese could. Just shows better fit and finish, and means you’re less likely to have issues with magazines. Romanian seemed very similar to the Russian, but didn’t have the new hideous import marks the last of the Russian ones imported have.
TLDR, Romanian better fit and finish but have some holster wear, Chinese probably better overall condition but worse build quality. Only based on my sampling of handling a few, different lots and dealers may vary.
