TT33 serial number question

I'v got a bunch of TT33 frame that have been stripped for parts many years ago and that I have a question about serial numbers.

AFAIK the S/N should be located on the rear and on the left side of the frame.

On several there is an second number punched on the opposite side and some have the orignal S/N slashed other don't. similar that what visible on many TT33 magazine

When I look on registration certificate I realise that on some the original S/N is used and on other the other S/N is used

The question is that : Witch one should be used??

I beleive that the most visible is the one to be used

Any idea??

For the purpoiof registration I don't think the CFP really cares. For guns that never had serial numbers they used to issue serial number stickers. You could stamp your own number on the gun and it would be total nonsense but they didn't care.

Left/rear number is what matches to slide number on matching pistol. So that’s actual serial number.
