Others beat me to it, but I thought it would be of interest to others reading this post that I had the same problem as you did with my .45ACP Norc 1911A1, but found out upon benching it that it was a problem of follow through on my part. The problem occasionally happens with my P1, which will group a bunch near centre but occasionally get a low flier. It seems as though failing to follow through with the shot can make this problem so consistent to make it look as though the sights are off when it's really the shooter.
