Hey all, I picked up a 1951 Russian tt33 recently.
Discovered some trigger problems.
Narrowed it down to how the trigger bars get pushed downward to disconnect the trigger while the slide in cycling.
Mine trigger bars tend to not always pop back up once they have been pushed down.
It appears the trigger spring is the only thing that give it tension to push it back up. I beleive my spring is installed correctly (hook down low around the pin, hook pointing forward) and it does give tension to the trigger. I tried a bit of oil where the spring contacts the bars, did not seem to help.

Is this a sign of a week trigger spring? Angles slightly out?
It will work fine for a mag or so, then be troublesome for a mag or so...
I also have removed both hand grips as well as tried with and without the mag, the mag and handgrip don't seem to be the issues, leaving me to think it's spring tension possibly.

Put a different trigger spring in. Although they appears the same, "feel" like the same tension (not scientifically tested), the new trigger spring appears to have fixed the problem. Thanks!
