Yep, I’m not surprised at all. All this BS just to shoot 5 more rounds, and you can’t even load via the stripper clips.
And when you are all out of ammo, the factory 5 rd mags (loaded with the stripper clips) is WAY faster than manually loading those LAR mags.

after getting the feed ramp machined by wolverine mine has yet to fail to feed from the XCR mags. I twisted the lip of one mag because it would send it into the wrong direction and after that, pure 10 round power no probs. Put the old mags on just to keep my gomez/spetznaz methods sharp. switch to the adapter for shooting drills that take more than 6 bullets.

Is that in addition to the milling for the adapter? If so, what did they do, mill AR-like "feed ramps"?

i dont own any of the rifles but wtf is the differnce between cz858 and vz and other bulls**t name for it? And op thanks for posting this i was gonna buy one but confused as hell. Is it like the ar platform with different names like core15 bla bla bla?

CZ858 is made by Czeska Zvbrojca(spelling)

VZ 58 is made by Czeck Small Arms CSA

OP has started a similar thread in Red Rifles as well.

Two threads are better than one?

It would seem that he has started both these threads prior to contacting Wolverine directly.

Let's hope that if he ever gets around to speaking to Wolverine, he will let us know what their response is.

I ordered the CZ858-2 non restricted barrel complete with the 7.62x39 BT Magwell adapter from Wolverine a few months ago. I have run the XCR pistol mag that came with it as well as 3 other XCR mags from another vendor and it has worked flawlessly for aprox. 500 rds. Not a single issue of any kind. Not a one. I am shooting surplus corrosive steel case. Whatever the issue is I'm confident it can be rectified.

I just recently bought one and when I fired the first 2 mags I ran into similar issues with loading the first round from the mag - since then I've run about 150 rounds through 6 different mags and no feeding problems.

This may just be an issue of new and tight rather than an actual problem.

Let us know what Wolverine says though,

OK, time to clear this one up. Please note that this is my personal account but I simply did not have time at work today to post on here from my official Wolverine account so I am doing this in my own time. I have left this 24 hours in the hopes the OP would come back on and explain how this was resolved.
The OP contacted me around 4.30 yesterday and I quickly discovered the order was from late April before the problem with the conversions was discovered and rectified. All the rifles from this time were test fired here using our mags and all worked fine (otherwise they would not have been sent out). Anyway, as usual the issue was resolved very easily. OP had the choice of us fixing the rifle, a completely new rifle or a full refund.
To anyone put off by this thread, the issue with the feeding has been identified and fixed and as far as I know there have been no problems at all on the newly machined versions. I am sure I will hear about it first on here if there is :)

I think the OP should have talked to Wolverine first. This thread likely would never have been started. Too many people are moaning and groaning first on this site before they talk to the dealer.

If you have a problem talk to the dealer first. It will likely stop there. If you do not have the issue resolved then it's fine to post but you better be damn sure your facts are straight and that you were being reasonable in the circumstances.

I bought one of these weeks ago, and did the machining myself according to the older instructions. Just today I finally was able to take it out, and it worked almost great. The only issue was twice out of about 25 magazines through it, the first round hung up when I was charging it. Everything else was great, especially the feeling of blasting off 10.

And you wonder why Newbies get trashed.

OP starts two threads on same topic, gets a resolution but don't bother to post outcome. Obviously OP is too busy to contact the dealer and respond but plenty of time to complaint twice. f:P:.

Thumbs up to Guy/WOLV for great service. NOW negotiate better shipping rates ;)

So purchased a CZ858 with the B&T magwell adapter so it can accept the XCR 7.62x39 10rnd mags from Wolverine supply. The mag adapter was installed by Wolverine supply.
I took the rifle out to the range today and this set up does not work at all. the rounds do not load properly, not even close. i don't know who or how they think this set up works but this rifle and mag adapter is total crap. Anyone else have this same problem? Should these rifles not be tested before being sold!!?? I would not recommend this product to anyone. Stick with the original CZ858 mags for these rifles and stay away from the B&T mag adapter from Wolverine supply.

SO........... you happy now or what?????????????
