I put a Geissele Super 3 Gun in my Stag 2T and I love it!

I got a Rock River 2 stage. It's about $200. I've tried the Timney too, around $240. Both nice. The Rock River is how I'd go if your budget is tight. Good bang for the buck.
 
Geissele is the best...but much cheaper and still pretty good are ALG combat trigger (Canadian Tactical Cowboy Supplies) or Spikes Tactical Battle Trigger (Questar I believe)
 
Anyone compare the Geissele to the ALG Combat trigger and can comment on the differences? I'd buy the ALG in a heartbeat except that I know no matter how much better the ALG would feel over stock, part of me would always be wondering how much sweeter the Geissele would feel. I'd like to upgrade the trigger in my 14.5" AR but I only want to do it once.

I've been considering the Geissele myself. Can someone sing its praises (or otherwise)?
 
The ACT is a "tuned" mil-spec trigger, it is NOT a high-speed match trigger. The target market is for military and LEO users who are limited in the aftermarket modifications they can put into their service rifle.

ALG was created to not confuse customers but to still associate it with the Geissele name and reputation.

Almost zero creep, and a clean consistent 6lb 2oz trigger pull
 
I have both Geissele (3 different models) and the ALG Combat (as well as Spike BT). If you're just hammering away on the range/work gun...ALG/Spikes will do it for you. It is quite a bit better feeling than a stock trigger. Think of it as a trigger job...the Geissele is more like the Cadillac of triggers. An absolute joy, nice takeup, clean break (some are adjustable). When you try it you like it. I have Geissele on my high end AR's...
 
Damn this site costs me money every time I turn around...pretty soon my wife is going to start sleeping with a moderator just so she can have me banned ;) ...ordered the S3G from Arms East.
