Niiiiiiice! Did you use the Phoenix suppressor at all?

Edit
Sorry, I see you did try them both. I take it the Dlask is going to stay?

Thanks a bunch for the report:cheers: I was just sitting down to search this very subject and bam there it is. This barrel will likely be in my next build project.

You might get better results using 75gr MATCH ammo, even the 62gr PMC was shooting around 2". These rifles have a barrel twist rate of 1-7" so the heavier the better.

The DLASK is staying on the rifle. The ping of the Phoenix was getting to me after a while.

Yeah, I actually ran some Hornady Steel Match 75grain through it as well, and did shoot a .3-.4" group, which then opened up to 4", and everything else has shot that since as well.

I'm gonna run more through it tomorrow, and I have 75grain handloads to try as well.

glad to see a DMR report, I have the PDW but want the DMR for us competitions, is your model the shortest rail they offer for the DMR? I would love to shave off some extra weight with a shorter rail if its available.

great report thanks!

Well, the good news is that I was able to get results closer to the OP tonight testing a variety of handloads, so, the barrel definitely has a lot of potential for under $300...

Turns out I probably need a better bench rest setup, vs. shooting prone.

One other thing I will mention is with the DMR, NEA has their flash hider on it which I thought was a great addition. Well it sounds like a tuning fork everytime the rifle dis-charges and you charge the rifle. Which again is not a huge issue just music to my ears everytime I pull the trigger

I have a solution for this. It totally kills the ping of the prong flash suppressor. I mentioned it to Jeff before but I will put the screws to him next time and see if they will entertain incorporating the fix.

I like the ring.. reminds people you're there.

We discussed how to remove the sound and we'll likely incorporate those modifications in the future.
