Tube fed lever 30-06?

A frend of mine says he ordered a 30-06 and shows me a pik of a tube fed looks like a marlin do they exsist or is he gonna get a 30 30 and be pissed ?

I can't think of any tube-fed levers in .30-06 myself...

Not tube fed but probably a Browning or Winchester lever in 30-06

Problem with tube 30-06 is that pointed tip ammo could be smacking the primer of the round in front. That's why most 30/30 is round nose. But they're always making new guns, so perhaps your friend could indeed be getting one. I'm not aware of any though. If that's the case, make sure your friend is careful about ammo type

He's either getting a drop mag feed Browning in .30-06 or a .30-30 with a tube mag.

You cannot have a tube mag in .30-06 because as mentioned the pointy bullet may detonate the round in front. This is why the leverevolution ammo was popular, it put a point (better ballistics) on lever rounds, but made it flexy enough it wouldn't explode.

Yup it is, but if it is a 30-06 what else is there? As I mentioned there is no tube fed 30-06 that I am aware of.

No tube fed .30-06 (for the usual obvious pointed bullets reasons). Winchester/Browning 1895 would be the closest (sweeeet guns too).
