tube gun question

just looking at some websites on tube guns , and the thought just occured to me ;

when you epoxy the action into the tube , what do you do about the serial number that gets covered up , and for all intents and purposes , permantly glued inside of the tube ?

you copy the s/n and stamp it outside

Most commercial parts sets will have a slot milled out to allow the serial to be visible.

You can't permantely cover up the serial # and restamp it that as far as I understand a no no

I got mine second hand, but as far as I know, you need to order direct from MAK or whatever manufacture you decide on.
