Tula 1938 91/30 Condition questions

Is this a refurbished, it appears too good to be original finish
The whole this is great shape wit what appears to be a brown lacquer on the wood, and bolt isn't as clean as the rest of the rifle but matching numbers.

Some one spent time to make it look like either naval issue rifle or just have esthetics of the stock to stand out from the rest. There were some units in Soviet army with required blackened stocks SVT/Mosin. Mainly this type of color scheme is featured in soviet cinema, where mass shots of infantry was needed. Mosin M91/30 even played standard issue rifle of russian infantry in many Patriotic War of 1812 movies of soviet era. As for this unit, It is refurbished rifle, no question about it.

The stock is actually a chocolate brown not black hard to tell in the pix.

If it's a refurb, there should be the appropriate marks.

Grizz

With provided pictures one can only tell it's not original condition rifle. Might be as well Finnish refurb with replaced post-war stock. Could be anything.
