Tula 223, 55gr HP.......ok for coyote?

Hi,
Ive asked this question on another website but didn't get any answers.

I bought a bunch of this Tula ammo for my rifle. It's very good, great accuracy with no misfires after 100 shots.

I have never hunted coyote. I want to. Can anyone tell me, from experience, if 55 grain hollow point is suffient for eastern coyote? I can buy expensive stuff, but if I'm having luck with this stuff, why would I?

I'm sure 223 in general is fine, it's the hollow point I'm concerned with. Should they expand enough for a clean kill?

I can tell you they will take down a cayote
But it is not the proper bullet and would recommend
Something else
They cause a lot of pelt damage

Thanks for the reply. Should have mentioned that pelt damage isn't a concern. I'll be hunti g coyote as a nuisance animal. They're getting kind of out of control in one area we're deer hunting.

As long as the HP kills them humanely, that's all I want.

If I don't want to destroy fur with my 22-250 I shoot 45 grain hollow points. There is never an exit hole. My buddy uses the exact same loading in his 223 with the same results. Go ahead and use the HP's. Now when I use a 55 ballistic tip there is not much coyote left to skin!
 
The Tula HP's will be fine... and I would expect less not more pelt damage compared to many Ballistic tip varmint loads that many use for coyotes.
