Tula Ammo - SERIOUS ISSUE

Ive read about a few failures with the Tulla ammo when its used on the m14, I just bought one yesterday and will definately try not to get any tula ammo for it. Glad there was no serious injuries. Youd think Norinco would get there $hit together and make sure these guns had the proper headspacing before they left the factories.
Does anyone know how to tell if the ammo is tula when its still in the crate?

Tula is cheap steel cased commercial ammo that is boldly marked "TULA" on the box. It doesn't come in cryptic military crates or cans.

I wonder about Tula's batch-to-batch consistency. I shot a few hundred rounds of this stuff through my M305 and didn't have any problems. It was just dirty and inaccurate, even compared to Norinco 308. I have shot almost a thousand Norinco steel case and have also not had an issue.

Tula would not be the first ammo manufacturer to have some bad batches. I remember some Brazillian CBC 308 which was loaded with the wrong powder and apparently detonated a few rifles.

I have about 120 rounds of this in boxes stamped with the correct time period of the mishap 75 I believe? I'll have to look when I get home, Never fired any and never will, But its a nice conversation piece, I keep a printout of the info with the rounds, Also have some from 77 which is good to go, Nice shooting ammo actually

I shot one 50rnd box of tula 9mm steel cased ammo in my cz75. Had 3 ftf, slide partly open and cartridge half chambered. Never a problem with brass, smooth cycling. Seems to be the texture of the steel casing causing the prob.

Three case failures in three different rifles?
I've never used the stuff, but I think it might be an idea to break it down for salvage.
that's what I understood also . Man if it fails in one situation maybe its time to stop experimenting . The fourth might be the one where you loose an eye maybe
