While looking at various SKS's in store, the one I walked away with is the only one that i noticed the Tula star and arrow (along with a date) stamped on the side of the stock.
This mean anything? Make it any more special than the rest?
On a side note, its a 1952, but on the stock I cant make out the last digit. Look kinda like a 2 or a 3 or a 6. Because its a referb (original #'s barred out), but no barring of the date makes me wonder if they simply stamped the new date's last digit thats on the receiver cover over the old date.
